- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup chicken broth (or water)
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season tilapia; lightly flour if desired.
- Sear in olive oil 2–3 minutes per side; remove.
- Sauté garlic in butter 30 seconds.
- Simmer broth + lemon juice + zest 1–2 minutes.
- Return fish; spoon sauce over; garnish with parsley.

- No broth: Use water and add an extra pinch of salt.
