Description
This authentic guacamole is creamy, chunky, and bright—made with ripe avocados, lime, cilantro, and just enough jalapeño.
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1/4 cup finely diced white onion
1 small jalapeño, minced
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 medium Roma tomato, seeded and diced (optional)
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste
Instructions
Mash avocados in a bowl until chunky-smooth.
Stir in onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and tomato (if using).
Add lime juice and salt. Taste and adjust.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Best avocados: Slightly soft and darkened under the stem.
Keep green: Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
