Description

These blueberry sweet rolls are soft, fluffy, and filled with juicy blueberries. A tangy lemon glaze drizzled on top takes them to the next level, making them a perfect treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

– 4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 tsp instant yeast

– 1 tsp salt

– 2 large eggs

– 1 cup warm milk

– 1/4 cup melted butter

– 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for filling)

– 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

– 2 tbsp lemon juice (for glaze)

– 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)


Instructions

1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.

2. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Stir in flour to form dough. Knead for 8 minutes.

3. Let dough rise for 1 hour, then roll out to a 12×18-inch rectangle.

4. Sprinkle sugar and blueberries on dough. Roll up, slice into 12 rolls, and place in a pan.

5. Let rise for 30 minutes and bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.

6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk, and drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

– For a slightly sweet topping, you can add a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar before baking.

– Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
